Created in the 1970s thanks to the efforts of volunteers, Windmill Hill City Farm has been a vital hub for the south Bristol community ever since.
The farm provides an excellent opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to learn about farming and to become actively involved in the production of their food. Animals on the farm include a variety of goats, sheep, pigs and poultry.
Since being founded in the mid 1970s, the City Farm has provided an oasis in the city for its visitors. A trip to the farm and gardens acts as a great antidote to the hustle and bustle of city life.
