Situated near Llandow in the Vale of Glamorgan, 15 miles South West of Cardiff, South Wales Karting Centre is one of the largest, fastest and most exciting circuits in Wales.
THE TRACK
The track is approximately 1050 meters in length with nine corners. The surface is tarmac. All of the corners are used for the direct drive classes with the following exceptions.
On the rolling lap, prior to the start, the cut through’s at The Hook & Surtees are used. The cut through at The Hook is used in the first racing lap. For gearbox classes, the same applies but with the cut through at The Hook used for ALL laps. The circuit is raced clockwise with six marshall points numbered 1 through 6 on the diagram. Competitors may park in the paddock area shown but MUST stay within the confines of the circuit (line surrounding track, paddock & facilities).

ARRIVE & DRIVE
We have a range of karts to suit both the novice driver or to test the more experienced, so it’s guaranteed that there is something for everyone. We cater for all drivers aged 8 and over. From Arrive and Drive practice sessions to F1 style Grand Prix events.
OWNER DRIVERS
We welcome owner drivers to South Wales Karting Centre both for testing and racing. We host a monthly IKR (non-MSA) Sprint Series for all classes as well as a monthly 3, 4 or 6 hour Endurance races for Prokarts. All karts are welcome from bambino to gearbox.
RACE ACADEMY
If you or your child are interested in beginning karting, our race academy is an ideal place to start. We’ll teach you everything you need to know. We have our Junior Race School for ages 8-14 or for those looking to get ahead, we have Bambino Tuition available for 6-8 year olds.
