Experience RHS Garden Bridgewater from when it opens on 11 May 2021. This fifth RHS garden transforms the former site of Worsley New Hall, next to the Bridgewater Canal in Salford, into a spectacular new 154 acre garden. A thoughtful blend of heritage landscapes, modern and traditional garden styles, Bridgewater is already a horticultural treasure trove of stunning year-round colour and inspiration, featuring one of the largest walled gardens in the UK, vibrant spring and summer colour in magnificent borders, bee and butterfly garden and gentle walks through woodlands and meadows. Excitingly, this is just the start of the journey as the garden continues to develop and grow in future years.

Create your own family adventures in Woodland Play which provides an exciting, inclusive and accessible play experience for children and young people and visit us in the school holidays for great family activities. Bridgewater offers a year-round programme including art and heritage exhibitions, workshops, garden tours and talks ideal for both keen and novice gardeners, alongside Plant Shows and seasonal festivals to celebrate the joy of gardens and growing

Working with the season’s produce from the garden, our chefs curate a menu that is constantly changing to bring you exciting dishes, cakes and patisserie. From award-winning pies and cheese to fresh-baked bread and locally-reared lamb, our menu showcases the very best producers from the North West. Eat-in, or head outside and enjoy your coffee with a view of the garden from Meadow View Terrace.
