Jungle Kingdom offers you the chance to get really close to all sorts of exotic animals. You can even walk through many of the enclosures and interact with the animals directly. Our walkthrough meerkat enclosure was the first of its kind in the UK and lets you get completely immersed in a meerkat’s world. See them dash around right under your feet, through caves and over rocks. They might even stand guard on their hind legs, making sure you aren’t after their dinner! While you’re here, say hello to the porcupines, giant anteaters, binturong, coati and our ever so adorable otters.
Longleat House is nestled in the heart of 900 acres of stunning Capability Brown parkland. Wander through the sweeping corridors and grand rooms of Longleat House is to be transported back in time. Exploring this stunning example of high Elizabethan architecture – and the Capability Brown landscaped grounds surrounding it – is a day out in itself. It was substantially completed by Sir John Thynne in 1580. And today, his descendants are still lucky enough to call it their home.
