Our 550-acre drive-through safari is home to many animals from around the world. The drive is broken up into different zones where you will drive through and see animals in as close to natural conditions as we can achieve That’s the beauty of the safari drive – its different every time you go round!
Our drive through lion enclosure, where our pride of lions roam around the cars, is a real highlight of the safari drive but there are plenty of other highlights as you continue your safari journey. You’ll see rhino with wildebeest and forest buffalo not to mention camels, nilgai and kiang and bison!
There is nothing that can prepare you for seeing an apex predator like the African lion up close and our lion reserve provides a fantastic opportunity to do just that. The safari drive takes you through the lion reserve, allowing you to watch the pride without a fence between them and your vehicle. There are many highlights along our safari but the drive-through lion reserve is one of our most popular.
You can explore a huge part of the safari on foot! Our foot safari offers everything from sea lion displays and play areas, meerkats, giraffe and now our amazing new tiger trail – all included in your admission! If you fancy a break from the hustle and bustle of the amusement rides, why not take the family out on a rowing boat on Mizzy Lake or on a woodland walk through the Wild Trail? There’s so much to do, you’ll struggle to fit it all in!
