There’s so much to do and see on a day out at Goodwood Racecourse. Whether you’re witnessing the stars of the sport close-up, enjoying the delicious food or drink, dancing along to our raceday music or unleashing your inner fashionista – there is nothing quite like a day at the races.
Horseracing has been a part of Goodwood since 1802, when the 3rd Duke of Richmond introduced the sport as an amusement for local army officers. Fast forward two hundred years and there are 19 unique race days, including our flagship event, the Qatar Goodwood Festival, affectionately known as ‘Glorious Goodwood’.
