There’s a royal feel to this treetop ropes course at Go Ape Leeds Castle in Maidstone, Kent. Home to six queens and Henry VIII himself, the castle is now 900-years-old and offers 500-acres of beautiful parkland and gardens for you and the family to explore.
Aim to be crowned thrill-seeker extraordinaire as you pit your wits, nerves and agility against this Treetop Challenge which boasts five zips – two of which are over 250m long! Get the family out and about and up into the treetops. This adventure unfolds and unfurls as you make your way into the woods and is a great confidence booster and starting point for young explorers.
Treetop Adventure+
You’ll tackle our original Treetop Adventure course to find your confidence before heading up a level to the Adventure+ loop. Once there, you’ll reach the high ropes course via a fisherman’s trap. The longest crossing, the Chamonix, is a whopping 16m long, and after making it across the course, intrepid young adventurers can fly back down to earth in style on a 75-metre long zip wire.
Treetop Adventure
Tackle the treetops and clamber through the high rope crossings in the parklands of Leeds Castle. There’s no minimum age limit (need to be over 1m tall) so gather the family or groups of friends for an unquestionably unique day out, which will keep you all entertained. Steady your footing on the challenge of the Stepping Stones and the Log Bridge.

Sundown Adventure (Seasonal)
At Go Ape Leeds Castle feel like the queen or king of the forest as you enjoy our Sundown Adventure Special and zip through the trees! When you arrive, you will be harnessed up and attached to the safety system so you can navigate the course as darkness falls. Then, when you reach the top of the zipline, prepare to soar through the treetops in the dark. Test your skills and prove your status as zipline royalty as you soar through the night.
Sundown Adventure+ (Seasonal)
Are you feeling adventurous? Ready to take on a new challenge? Try out our Sundown Adventure+ special at the site of ‘the loveliest castle in the world’. With this evening experience, you can clamber up into the treetops and appreciate a nocturnal birds-eye view of our stunning Park. Then, when you reach the zip wire, you’ll step off the platform and soar through the night. Fill your evening with adrenaline and adventure as you experience the beauty of Leeds Castle and parkland at night.
