Go Ape Haldon is the gateway to fun and adventure on the moors. You’ll find us 15-minutes from Exeter nestled in 3,500-acres of woodland. Whether sat on top of a tree or moving between sites on the course you’ll get to appreciate the beauty of the Dartmoor landscape.
Against the backdrop of the stunning Dartmoor, Go Ape Haldon Forest is as far south as we venture. Your adventure though is definitely northwards as you scale the heights of the treetops. A great location for thrill-seekers and family adventurers with hilltop to hilltop zip wires and daring high-level crossings. You may be deep in the forest but the 360-degree views from your treetop vantage point are spectacular.
Treetop Challenge
Get your harness on, grab hold of the ropes and rise to new heights in the towering Scots Pines. This tricky circuit of high ropes crossings will leave you with the ultimate sense of accomplishment, you’ll be riding high for weeks. Clear your mind and focus on careful footing as you complete the precarious Log Balance or scale it back and start with a trip across the Button Bridge. At over 200-metres long, the zip wire ride across the valley is a showstopper! Groups and individuals alike will find something to break them out of their comfort zone and seize the moment at our Devon site.
Treetop Adventure
Look up here! High up in the treetops over Haldon, there’s a canopy of foliage and a network of crossings just waiting for you to pay a visit. With a breath-taking zip line that soars between the hilltops and a variety of tree-high crossings, this offers a whole new way for you and your family to experience the beauty of Devon. Suitable for all age of daredevils over 1m tall, there’s a chance to free-fall on the Tarzan Swing or see who can be quickest to scale the mighty rope course before buckling on for the brilliant zip wire finale.
Sundown Adventure (Seasonal)
Get ready to strike a pose against a sunset or starry sky with our Sundown Sessions! Leap and zip through the trees on this fun treetop course, set against the stunning Dartmoor hilltops. When you arrive, you will be harnessed up and attached to the safety system so you can navigate the course as darkness falls. Then, when you reach the top of the zipline, prepare to soar through the treetops in the dark. Become a creature of the forest as you soar through the night, epic fun for children and younger families.
