You’re spoilt for choice at Go Ape Forest of Dean Mallards Pike. You can explore and enjoy England’s largest oak woodland and one of our most beautiful adventures from the treetops or the forest floor. The Challenge course is definitely one for the bold and brave with its newly extended zip wires and if you enjoy your fun closer to earth you can zip off on one of our all-terrain electric Segways.

Treetop Challenge

How far will you dare to go? With the option to adjust the difficulty of this high ropes course, you can crank it up each time you complete a lap of our Treetop Challenge. Even for the most adventurous, this is a high one – 15-metres to be precise. The Stirrups require all of your core strength as you wobble from one to the next, while the aptly named Mallards Ladder makes for a suitably tricky ascent. If you’re looking for fresh ways to push yourself this course includes a number of new challenges including the Tank Trap and The Shuffle – plenty to get the blood pumping for the ultimate adrenaline rush.

Forest Segway

Jump onboard one of our all-terrain Segways and discover some of the Forest’s amazing wildlife. Be on the lookout for wild boar and deer as our stealthy electric-powered Segways enable you to get up close and personal with the wonders of the local nature. This course will put your Segway driving skills to the test with its windy trails and bumps.

Make a day of your visit – there are a number of walking and beautiful running routes and with such varied terrain and scenery, the Forest of Dean is cycling heaven. There’s something for road cyclists and mountain bikers wanting to go off-road and downhill – fast.
