Passionate about Yorkshire, its farmers and local producers; Fodder, a Yorkshire farm shop and café, supports and sells the very best. Our shelves are stocked with food and drink from over 430 farmers and producers, with 85% of what is sold and served coming from Yorkshire.
We are proud to be the only food shop and café in the UK where all profits go to a farming charity – the Yorkshire Agricultural Society. So for every purchase you make, you help pay for a child to enjoy a free trip to Countryside Days or a farmer to have a health check which may save his life.
The idea of Fodder started in 2001 when British agriculture was hit hard by Foot and Mouth and the Society wanted to come up with a long-term sustainable plan which would help farmers in Yorkshire.
Farm Shop
At Fodder we’re so proud to support over 430 local makers, bakers, farmers, growers and producers. We’re dedicated to championing our suppliers big and small and have selected the best the region has to offer from our Harrogate shop.
Café
Join us in our beautiful and bright Harrogate café, where we have a fantastic menu full of delicious options from Yorkshire and beyond. The Fodder café serves Great Yorkshire Breakfasts and delicious lunches alongside coffee, tea and mouth-watering cakes.

It all started with a farmer’s wife who made cushions and from there it’s grown! We stock a selection of the best of Yorkshire and further afield, pop in to see our bespoke Yorkshire Agricultural Society tweed, hand poured candles, local mugs and more!
