Being owned by the Crown Estate we like to think Go Ape Bracknell has royal approval! It definitely has a sprinkling of magic dust as parts of the Harry Potter movies was filmed on location here.
Conveniently tucked amongst Reading, Farnborough, Maidenhead and Slough it’s the perfect antidote to busy living – a calm oasis for families to retreat to.
Swinley Forest stretches over 2,600-acres of gentle hills from Bracknell to Crowthorne. It’s a lovely place to explore on foot and it’s well known for its mountain bike trails.
There’s lots of fun to be had at Go Ape Bracknell with four adventures to choose between – Treetop Challenge, Treetop Adventure and Treetop Adventure+ as well as Forest Segway.
Treetop Challenge
Treetop platforms connected with crossings to build your confidence and test your skills. Complete with a zip wire on each site to bring you back to the ground.
Whether riding high on the breath-taking 160-metre Alpine zip wire or testing your stamina as you tackle the course at speed, there’s something for all thrill seekers on this blood-pumping high ropes course. It’s a tricky one, so be prepared to push yourself and your nerves. Buddy up for our first-ever double Tarzan Swing with the Pendulum Pass and Fuji Crossing on stand-by to see if you’ve got what it takes to break out of the box and experience tree-high greatness.
Forest Segway
Jump aboard one of our all-terrain Segways and explore Swinley Forest in two-wheel style – the perfect way to see the park from a fresh viewpoint. Once you’ve aced the intro training, you’ll be off and exploring solo on our exclusive Segway trails.
Treetop Adventure+
The course offers up 10 wobbly crossings suspended 12 metres above the ground. Young daredevils will love the Prisoner’s Bridge and Climbing Wall where they’ll traverse through the treetops. Intrepid adventurers can fly back down to earth in style on a 104-metre long zip wire.
Treetop Adventure
A one-hour treetop exploration for adventurers over 1m. Climb the stairs to the canopy where you’ll find a network of crossings and platforms to follow on your journey through the forest. The first loop of the course is all about building confidence before the epic zip wire ride back to the ground. The crossings then become a fun test for budding young explorers to test their skills and earn their Jungle VIP badge. Participants have 1 hour to squeeze in as much treetop fun and zip wire thrills as they can.
